Maybe the goal is learning how to move through life without constantly trying to perform, control, or criticize yourself.

Services

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make it as comfortable and transparent as possible.

  • We’ll start with a brief phone call to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and answer any questions you might have. We’ll also go over what to expect in sessions and see if we’re a good fit.

If we both feel it’s a match, we’ll schedule your first session. If not, I’ll gladly help connect you with another therapist who may be a better fit for your needs.

  • Before our first session, you’ll receive intake paperwork through a secure email. During our time together, we’ll review your goals, talk through any questions you have, and begin building a foundation for the work ahead.

This first session is about getting to know you so we can begin exploring what kind of support will feel most helpful for you.

  • If you feel that we’re a good fit after the initial session, we’ll set up a consistent meeting time that works for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll continue exploring what’s been challenging, building insight, and developing tools that support your growth and well-being. The pace and focus of our work will evolve as your needs do.

The Process

  • Surviving

    “Everything feels loud.”

You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. This phase focuses on creating safety, stability, and understanding, helping your body and nervous system begin to settle while we build consistency, support, and trust.

  • Understanding

    “Oh… this is connected.”

Together, we start making sense of the patterns underneath the struggle. We explore how emotions, ADHD, nervous system sensitivity, perfectionism, relationships, hormones, and disordered eating often intertwine. This phase is about insight, awareness, and releasing shame.

  • Relearning

    “I’m responding differently now.”

Healing isn’t about becoming perfect, it’s about learning new ways to care for yourself. Here, we focus on emotional regulation, flexibility, self-trust, boundaries, and body attunement, building sustainable patterns that support your real life.

  • Reconnecting

    “I feel more like myself.”

Over time, you may notice that shame, survival patterns, and food or body thoughts have less control. Therapy becomes less about getting through the day and more about reconnecting with yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to create.
